Request a Quote for German-Standard Reinforcing Steel
Send us your specification details and we will respond with a fully itemised quotation — including product grade, applicable standards, packing, export documentation, and delivery terms to your destination port.
How to Get an Accurate Reinforcing Steel Quotation
Rebar and mesh pricing depends on several variables: product grade, diameter mix, length configuration, total tonnage, packaging type, and destination Incoterm. Providing complete specification details in your first enquiry avoids delays and allows us to return a precise, comparable offer — rather than a broad indicative range.
The most efficient route is to attach your bar-bending schedule (BBS) prepared to DIN 488 shape codes or BS 8666 — this gives us everything we need in a single document. If a BBS is not yet available, use the checklist below to capture the key parameters manually.
Information Checklist — What to Include in Your Enquiry
To prepare the most accurate quotation possible, please supply as many of the following as you can:
- Product type — straight bars, rebar coils, reinforcing mesh, rebar couplers, stirrups/cut-and-bend, lattice girders, or accessories
- Steel grade — B500A (normal ductility, k ≥ 1.05, Agt ≥ 2.5%), B500B (high ductility, k ≥ 1.08, Agt ≥ 5.0%), or B500C (seismic, 1.15 ≤ k < 1.35, Agt ≥ 7.5%); or legacy BSt 500 S if applicable
- Diameters required — e.g. Ø10 mm, Ø12 mm, Ø16 mm, Ø20 mm, Ø25 mm (or full diameter mix with quantities per diameter)
- Lengths or shape codes — stock length (commonly 12 m) or specific cut/bent dimensions to DIN 488 or BS 8666 shape codes
- Total tonnage (net weight) — or quantity per line item so we can calculate tonnage using the standard formula (kg/m = d² × 0.00617)
- Destination port or country — for freight estimation and Incoterm pricing
- Preferred Incoterm — FOB (Free On Board at German port), CFR (Cost and Freight), or CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight)
- Required delivery / shipment date — or project timeline if phased deliveries are needed
- Packing preference — seaworthy bundles (~2 t), loose bundles, or container-optimised; break-bulk or FCL/LCL
- Documentation requirements — EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Certificate of Origin (CoO), CE Declaration of Performance (DoP), packing list, or other trade documents
- Bar-bending schedule (BBS) — attach if available (PDF, Excel, or standard format)
