Both protect rebar from corrosion, but they work differently and suit different projects.

Both greatly extend life; galvanized tolerates coating damage better (sacrificial zinc), while epoxy relies on an intact barrier.
Can epoxy rebar be bent?
Bend before coating, or use fusion-bonded epoxy on pre-bent bar; avoid damaging the coating on site.
