Micropile & Hollow Bar Systems
Self-drilling hollow bars, couplers, nuts, plates and drill bits for micropiles, soil nails and ground anchors — bulk, export-direct.
Hollow bar micropile systems
Micropiles carry structural loads through weak ground into competent strata; the self-drilling hollow bar is the fastest way to install them in collapsing soils — the bar is drill string, grout conduit and permanent reinforcement in one operation. We supply complete systems: hollow threaded bars from R32 to T111, matching couplers, hex nuts, bearing plates, centralisers and sacrificial drill bits (clay, sand/gravel and rock types).
Typical applications: underpinning, restricted-access foundation strengthening, slope stabilisation, tension piles for uplift, and micropile groups for bridge and tower foundations.
System sizes & load range
Standard designations follow the drill-thread convention (R = rope thread, T = trapezoidal): R32, R38, R51, T76, T111, with ultimate loads from ~280 kN (R32N) to over 3,600 kN (T111). Bars ship in 2–4 m lengths, extendable by couplers with no loss of capacity. Steel grades per EN 10083 with full 3.1 certification; double corrosion protection (galvanised + grout cover) or duplex options for permanent works.
Wholesale supply & export
We consolidate bars, accessories and bits into single export shipments — one PO, one container, full documentation. MOQ from one bundle per size; project packages (hundreds of piles) priced against live mill schedules with staged call-off deliveries.

FAQ
What is the difference between R and T hollow bars?
R-types use a rounded rope thread (fast flushing, general soils); T-types a trapezoidal thread with higher thread-flank capacity for heavy rock anchors and high-load micropiles.
Can hollow bars replace conventional cased micropiles?
In collapsing or water-bearing soils, yes — the simultaneous drill-and-grout method removes the casing step, typically cutting installation time 30–50%.
Do you supply drill bits for different soils?
Yes — clay/silt cross-cut bits, sand/gravel button bits and hardened rock bits, matched to each bar size and sacrificial by design.
