B500B to DIN 488 / EN 10080 is the standard specification for hydraulic reinforced concrete designed to Eurocode 2 and EN 1992-3. It provides 500 MPa characteristic yield strength, ductility class B (k ≥ 1.08, Agt ≥ 5.0%), and a rib geometry that delivers the bond performance assumed in EC2 crack-width and anchorage calculations. For seismic dam sites, B500C (ductility class C, Agt ≥ 7.5%) can also be supplied.
Can you supply rebar with EN 10204 type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates for dam-safety authority review?

What is the maximum bar diameter available for heavy hydraulic civil works?
We supply B500B in diameters from 8 mm up to 40 mm. For very heavy sections (buttresses, thick gravity dam bases), ø32 (6.31 kg/m, 804 mm²) and ø40 (9.86 kg/m, 1257 mm²) are available. Mechanical couplers for ø40 allow full structural continuity without impractical lap lengths in congested zones.
Do you supply rebar in seaworthy packaging for export to dam sites in Africa, the Middle East or Asia?
Yes. Rebar is supplied in seaworthy bundles of approximately 2 tonnes, strapped and marked for container or break-bulk shipping. Full export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, Mill Test Certificates and CE/DoP where applicable — is provided for customs clearance at the destination port. We can coordinate with your freight forwarder on container-load planning.
Can mechanical couplers replace lap splices in gallery and intake structure reinforcement?
Yes. Parallel-thread and taper-thread mechanical couplers (ø12–40 mm) provide a full-strength mechanical splice that eliminates the 40–60 d lap length required by EC2, making them ideal for heavily reinforced gallery walls, intake throats and sluice gate frames where congestion is a primary concern.
