Steel Rebar Export to Vietnam — DIN 488 / EN 10080 B500B
German-standard B500B reinforcing steel supplied to Vietnamese infrastructure and building projects. Full EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate, Certificate of Origin, and seaworthy packing for container shipment to Hai Phong and Cat Lai.
Rebar Supply for Vietnam’s Infrastructure Boom
Vietnam has sustained some of the strongest construction growth rates in Southeast Asia, fuelled by government-led infrastructure investment, foreign direct investment in manufacturing parks, and rapid urbanisation. Metro rail systems, expressways, bridges, and large residential complexes are all under development simultaneously, creating sustained demand for documented, high-strength reinforcing steel.
Steel Rebar Germany supplies B500B hot-rolled deformed bars to EN 10080 and DIN 488. These bars carry a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa, ductility class B (k ≥ 1.08, Agt ≥ 5.0%), available in diameters 8–40 mm in 12-metre or custom lengths up to 18 m.
Vietnam’s primary reinforcing steel standard is TCVN 1651. The CB500 grade within TCVN 1651-2 sets a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa — technically comparable to EN 10080 B500B in yield and ductility class. We do not claim formal TCVN approval. Buyers must confirm local authority and project engineer acceptance before specifying imported German rebar.

Shipping to Hai Phong & Cat Lai — Logistics Overview
Container and break-bulk options for the north and south of Vietnam, with full seaworthy packing.
Hai Phong (North Vietnam)
The primary container gateway for Hanoi and northern industrial zones. We ship via 20 ft and 40 ft open-top or flat-rack containers, with rebar in 2-tonne bundles, wire-strapped and tagged per heat number.
Cat Lai (Ho Chi Minh City)
Vietnam’s busiest container port, serving Ho Chi Minh City and southern construction markets. Standard transit times from German ports are typically 20–30 days depending on routing and vessel frequency.

Mill Test Certificates and Traceability
Every shipment is accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate to EN 10204 3.1 — issued by an independent inspection body at the producing mill, not self-declared. The certificate records the heat number, chemical composition, and mechanical test results (yield strength, tensile strength, elongation) for each batch. This level of traceability is required by major infrastructure financiers including the Asian Development Bank and World Bank.
